You can ride a scooter between the beaches yourself, but the south rewards a guided day more than most places: the villages make more sense with someone to explain them, the surf breaks need local knowledge, and the far south-east — the so-called Pink Beach and its tiny offshore islets — is a long way on poor roads.
All six listings are real GetYourGuide products with prices and ratings from its partner feed in October 2026. Note which are priced per person and which per group, and confirm that pick-up from your hotel (or from Bangsal harbour, if you are coming straight from the Gilis) is included.
Our pick of tours & tickets in Kuta Lombok & the south
from €44 Lombok: Pink Beach & 3 Gilis All-Inclusive Snorkelling Tour
A private wooden-boat day in Lombok’s remote south-east: the pink-tinged sand of Tangsi beach and snorkelling stops at small islets nearby. The pink is subtle and depends on the light — the operator says so too — but the day is a favourite.
from €67 per group Sade Village, Kuta Lombok and South Coasts: Private Tour
A private guide for your own group: a Sasak village visit, viewpoints over Kuta and a run of the best southern beaches. Priced per group, so good value for families.
from €28 Lombok: Selong Belanak Surf Experience for Beginners
A lesson with a local instructor on the most forgiving wave in Lombok. Board and safety gear are included; most people are standing up by the end.
from €67 Lombok: Tandem Paragliding Experience with Pilot
Fly tandem with a licensed pilot from a coastal ridge or an inland hill, with views over the Indian Ocean, Kuta bay and, on a clear day, Rinjani. Flights depend on wind.
from €21 Tetebatu: Waterfalls, Spices, Rice Terraces & Monkey Forest
A walking day with a village guide on the southern slopes of Rinjani: rice terraces, spice and coffee gardens, a forest with black monkeys and a waterfall swim. Rated a perfect five by well over a hundred guests.
from €32 Lombok: Sasak Villages, Beach & Scenic Hill Tour
A full-day introduction to the south: traditional villages, weaving, a beach stop, a hilltop view and a Sasak lunch included.

Senggigi & the Harbours from €37 Benang Stokel & Benang Kelambu Waterfalls: Culture, Beach & Sunset
Central Lombok’s twin forest waterfalls — one a curtain of water through hanging greenery — combined with village stops and a beach for sunset. One of the best-reviewed day tours on the island.
Senggigi & the Harbours from €31 Lombok: Private Car or Van Charter with Driver
A car and driver for a full day, with the route up to you: the coast road, Mataram’s temples, a waterfall, a weaving village. Good value shared between three or four people.
Booking tips
- Surf lessons run on the tide. Instructors will tell you the best time for the day; mid-tide is usual at Selong Belanak.
- Village “donations”. At Sade and Ende a local guide will show you round and expect a tip, and weavers will offer their cloth. Buying is optional; a polite no is fine.
- Pink Beach is far. Allow a full day and expect a long drive each way from Kuta — and longer from Senggigi. The beach looks pinkest in low morning or evening light.
- Paragliding is weather-dependent; keep the day flexible.
- Coming from the Gilis? Combined boat-and-car transfers to Kuta are listed under Senggigi & the harbours.
